Audio control for live performance
Audio Cues is an app for Android devices. With just an Android phone or tablet, or even a Chromebook that supports the Google Play Store, you can create and run simple sound designs for theater, dance, and other live shows. It can also be used by yoga teachers, massage therapists, or anyone else who wants to create and run playlists of music and other sound effects.
Where to get the app
Audio Cues is available from the Google Play store as a free download. The free version allows up to 2 shows on each device and up to 10 cues per show. An in–app purchase adds support for Unlimited Shows and Cues.
Audio Cues can also be purchased from Amazon, where it's primarily intended for use on Fire tablets. When purchased from Amazon, the app supports unlimited shows and cues without additional purchases required.
On Google Play, Audio Cues is free to download. The Unlimited Shows and Cues in–app purchase is priced at US $8.99 or local equivalent, plus sales tax or VAT as applicable.
On Amazon, Audio Cues is available for purchase at US $8.99 or local equivalent, plus sales tax or VAT as applicable.
New release, February 2023
Audio cues have two new properties. The new "Stop at" property stops a cue at a selected timestamp. The new "Fade out" property fades an audio cue's volume down to 0 over the selected number of seconds, starting that many seconds before the cue stops.
When a Fade cue is running, an up or down arrow icon appears to indicate the fade direction.
Fade cue buttons have a new icon in Run and Unlocked modes showing up and down arrows.
